Have you ever fallen in love with something, and didn't follow your heart??? That's what happened to me last year ...fell in love with Figgy Pudding by Basic Grey for Moda. I also fell in love with the free pattern. I thought at the time, "Oh, I fall in love with lots of lines (mostly Moda), it will pass, and I really don't want to buy all that fabric for a "Christmas" Quilt!!!! I never fell "out " of love without it...so last week I decided to go ahead and try to find it. (Don't you just hate that all the fabric companies now make the lines for such a short time).So today my first group of Figgy Pudding arrived from Alaska!!! Told ya I had to search everywhere!!! I also got my first copy of my Quilter's Connection, a totally Canadian Quilt Magazine! Life is good!!! I think the Early Bird Christmas Crafts program, has really got me into the spirit of Chrismas!!! I even got my Chrismas Journal made up!!!!And the sneaky little devil, Judith is following us pretty closely so I'd better post a picture of it!!! LOL

I didn't know Basic Grey makes fabric!! I've loved their scrapbooking papers & now... WOW!! I'm thrilled! Your quilts are gorgeous - thanks for sharing.

WOW, glad you got your fabrics, but Alaska!! Did you notice that the MARSH STORE is featured in the Quilters Connection magazine?? I will take you there in August! You will LOVE IT, guaranteed!!

Thanks Judith, I found an oh so cute little gifty item over with Jenny at Elefantz, so I'm going to try a variation of that when I get back from the auction today!!
I don't know how close you are to Guelph but I just found Figgy Pudding at the Len's Mills store on Victoria Rd in Guelph, yesterday. $16.49 per yd ,or metre? i'm not sure which as they will measure either. It looked like they had the entire line altho' some bolts were a little thin. If you want more info email me.
